Foued Frini defines himself as a “craftsman cook, rooted in our culinary traditions of the land, and open at the same time on the cuisine of the world, hence my own signature fusion” He created two concepts of shows on RTCI, “Follow The Chef “,” Quiz Cuisine “(Ramadan 2016), and” L’Atelier des Saveurs “for the grid 2016/2017, which currently earned him the status of Culinary Chronicler. He runs culinary workshops in partnership with the Carthage Training Center, for individuals, professionals and companies and has previously launched two concepts of restaurants that have touched Tunis, “Culinary Journey” and “The Carnivore”. And that’s when the doors of consulting for prestigious signs such as “Andalucia Beach Hotel” Bizerte “,” TAO “Sousse,” La Tavolata “open to him.
Currently, he is about to launch culinary events at a prestigious hotel in Gammarh. Despite a busy schedule, he presents himself on time and in dress to animate the kitchen workshop today. A workshop dedicated to Spanish tapas.
6 pm, in uniform and in position, Foued Frini receives with a broad smile the members of the group of registrants (80Dt per person for the training which lasts 2 hours +2 portions of the dishes that will be prepared during the workshop).
In a large white studio, a large aluminum table throne. The ingredients are placed on a joint table and each participant takes up his post. He has his utensils, a fire, a kitchen towel ….
And instructions from the leader to start working. The course begins.
Foued Frini attacks the presentations, the program and the history of the tapas. It alternates historical introductions, recipes, technical indications, demonstrations, rectifications … and some jokes … Here tonight, the bet is to prepare 4 tapas …
The participants alternate the comings and goings between their occasional market, the octopus that cooks in another room next door …. The program takes place almost essentially in practical work formula … In a super nice atmosphere, one cuts, chiselle , Washes, wipes, ax, sauteed, fried, boiled ….
As the tortilla begins to fry … I leave leaving all this team to activate and apply. Some of them ambition to open a small restaurant or just give pleasure to their spouse.
The cooking workshop is a monthly program. The Spanish cuisine is completed, leaving room for Asian, French, Italian cuisine …. Soon a fusion kitchen workshop will be devoted to the cuisine of the soil. We will come back.
