The Italian Embassy in Tunis and the Tunisian-Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry organize the first edition of the “Italian Business Oscars (IBO)” on 22 and 23 April 2017 at the Hotel La Cigale Tabarka Thalasso & Spa . The event celebrates the companies, institutions and individuals who have worked to promote trade, investment and economic relations between Tunisia and Italy.
The Tunisian-Italian partnership is not recent and dates back to the common past of Carthage and Rome, as evidenced by the Tabarka region, which attracted the Genoese ancestors of the powerful Lomellini family. History and geography itself make Tunisia and Italy natural partners who have shown their willingness to collaborate to this day. The IBO honors the Italian operators and investors for their confidence and loyalty, unceasingly renewed towards Tunisia, despite all the difficulties they may encounter in their business.
During the ceremony, four awards will be awarded to Italian companies based in Tunisia: The best big project, the best big company, the medium and small company and the best investment. An honorary award will be awarded for the best institutional collaboration and a prize of honor for the best Tunisian operator in the framework of the Tunisian-Italian partnership.
Five nominees per category will be nominated by the vote of a committee set up specifically for the event and composed of his Excellency Raimondo De CARDONA, CTICI President Mr Mourad FRADI and senior institutional representatives. A second secret ballot will announce the winners in each category.
IBO is organizing the gala evening in the prestigious resort of Tabarka and is helping to present to Italian entrepreneurs the excellent Tunisian tourist offer.
