The Hannibal Semi-Marathon is a 21.1 km race and 7 km in the heart of history. It will be held on Sunday, May 13, 2017 and is part of a series called “The Hannibal Race” which is a project initiated by the Center for Strategic Development Studies (SCDS) and which aims to promote the practice of ” Physical activity.
The Hannibal Semi-Marathon is special because the starting point will be the famous Roman Theater of Carthage and its route will pass by the legendary trails of Carthage Hannibal, Carthage Presidency, La Marsa and before crossing the finish line, The stop will be in front of the Roman Theater of Carthage.
The marathon signal will be given at 8:30 am and an exhibition will take place on the forecourt of the amphitheater of Carthage. The Hannibal Half-Marathon is also an opportunity to travel back in time and in the history of a rich UNESCO World Heritage Site.
By organizing this event, the Center for Strategic Development Studies confirms its will to offer a true race according to the international standards of (IAAF).

It is an independent structure which is not subject to any party and is located in Tunis. Its objectives are aimed at national development while establishing development projects and creating opportunities for work.
