The General Directorate of Statistics under the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT) released on September 6, 2016 a statement on the preliminary data of the current balance of payments for the first 8 months of 2016.

It shows that tourism revenue reached 1550 million dinars. This figure fell by 216 million dinars compared to the same period of 2015, a decrease of 12.2%.
