
The millenia-rich Tunisian history needs an inspired and inspiring figure to
promote its uniqueness. Luckily, designer Asma Hadj Romdhane dedicated her life to her passion : the Tunisian heritage. After a successful career in the fashion industry, she opted for the promotion of the Hammamet and Mahdia folk costumes. Her outstanding creativity and skillfulness turned her into a prestigious award winner at “Notre belle Tunisie” event, under the patronage of the UTICA.


Asma Hadj Romdhane uses traditional treasures, such as mergoum and kilim, to create gorgeous, modern bags. She works closely with highly qualified craftsmen and craftswomen and uses a wide range fabrics, from cotton velvet to silk. The Tourath products, where tradition meets modern-day know-how, are available in a selection of concept stores, or upon request directly in Asma Hadj Romdhane’s ateliers. The Tourath brand is currently becoming more and more renowned around the world.
