The setting that evokes the interior during the Moroccan Riadhs or Florentine palace is very nice especially in summer. A special nod is granted to local artist Taieb by the presence of two of his works.

Before sitting down to eat, take one’s aperitif in the illuminated patio is most pleasant. About the Room, on your plate, beef carpaccio, St. Jacques and pea puree and orange sauce, duck breast fillet with blackcurrant or beef tenderloin. The titles of the dishes, a little convoluted, deserve to remain modest especially if the food we serve in La Villa is good, it is not exceptional. Avoid desserts that are, admittedly, rather plain. Lemon pie and meringue Verbena had no taste and the chocolate fondant both fell more grout than the flux. However, the wine bar placed in the restaurant as a futuristic cube with transparency and where bottles of Tunisian and foreign wines are exposed like jewels is a success. La Villa regularly organizes for its change of season cards, gourmet weeks. In February 2012 it was the Swiss who was the guest of this week while in November is expected to be Morocco, which calls for a week at the table of La Villa.

Pricewise, they are a little excessive in their value. Do not count under 60 dt per person with drink. The Villa is a trendy restaurant that offers a perfect setting for a romantic evening but which deserves to improve the quality of its gastronomy if it wants to maintain its prices.
