The shrimp bisque served with its hazelnut crème fraiche and the soft steaks to perfection and sweet sauce / salt honey, prunes and pine nuts accompanied by a medley of vegetables cooked to perfection is simply a delight!
Dishes are balanced in quantity and flavors, the service done by the boss is impeccable although a little slow and the restaurant of forty settings is quiet and pretty. “La Marmite” is really a place to for a nice romantic dinner or a business lunch if you’re not too rushed. Wall pictures turn of the century Sousse provide the assembly with a retro atmosphere quite friendly.
Pricewise, they are substantial but correspond to a quality / fair price. It takes 40DT person for a meal.
La Marmite also has an adjoining bar if you want an aperitif or just a sip of alcohol in a cozy atmosphere.
