At the beginning of the summer season, the FTH welcomes the beginnings of activity recovery, although the achievements are below the levels of 2014 and 2010.

To ensure Tunisian availability in hotels for this summer, the FTH will be present for the first time at the show of artisanal creation from April 26 to May 5. The FTH intends to bring hotels closer to their customers by coming to them and offering them a “living” catalog: several hotels and hotel chains will be represented on the stand, to make their products known and offer stays at promotional rates. We therefore invite visitors to the Salon de la Creation Artisanale to visit our booth FTH to book their holidays and make sure they have the best rates.

FTH is also present to promote the artisanal heritage of each region and encourage hoteliers to acquire furniture and objects authentically Tunisian, both for decoration, service needs or items for sale in shops and shopping malls. This approach is part of our commitment to sustainable and responsible tourism, working for local development.

Hotel stays for local customers increased by 24% in 2017, proving enthusiasm and satisfaction with the hotel offering. The FTH recommends that holidaymakers be vigilant before booking their stays in hotels, and check the comments posted on the net.

Finally, the FTH works to ensure the smooth running of the summer season, and works tirelessly to improve the image of the country and highlight the tangible and intangible heritage.
