As part of a tripartite partnership, the Tunisian Federation of Travel Agencies (FTAV), with Amadeus Tunisia, a subsidiary of the Tunisair group, and INRISE, a brokerage and insurance and reinsurance consulting company, have launched a new product. travel assistance for Tunisians traveling abroad individually or in groups. In the second place, this offer will concern pilgrims to the Holy Places (Umrah or Hajj).
Mohamed Ali Toumi, President of FTAV, said at the signing ceremony: “For the last year of its mandate, the current office of the FTAV continues to work for the good of its members through numerous conventions with partners renamed to expand their offerings and strengthen their competitiveness.
This “Travel Assistance” offer will be available at travel agencies and may be purchased at the same time as the purchase of the flight ticket or stay. Four types of offers will be offered according to the needs of the customers, each containing various services in terms of guarantees and coverages (Visa, Silver, Golden and Business).
For travel agencies, the service will be provided by the specialist in the provision of technological solutions, particularly in the travel sector, in this case Amadeus Tunisia, through the new version of its solution Amadeus Individual Travel (AIT) which will bring competition from different insurance providers to ensure that travel agencies are able to offer their customers a wide range of offers.
“Once again, Amadeus Tunisia is here to support its travel agency partners in terms of technology with the addition of this new travel insurance offer in partnership with FTAV and INRISE,” said M Chaker Mrabet, Managing Director of Amadeus Tunisia.
Amadeus stresses that agencies will benefit from a new, user-friendly solution that is fully integrated with its platform. After the creation of the PNR, activation of the AIT application will import the necessary data for the creation of an insurance policy in a simple and intuitive way with four steps necessary to complete a sale. It will be sufficient for the seller to recall the terms of sale and print the insurance policy.
INRISE, as provider of insurance content, will in turn provide training for travel agents on the conditions and guarantees offered for the traveler as well as the permanent assistance of travelers by the provision of a telephone number. dedicated and a team of professionals.
