As part of a partnership between the JCC and the Be Tounsi collective, and on the sidelines of the festival, Tunisian handicraft products are entering the scene for the first time in the history of the prestigious festival.

An agreement between the two parties has been signed. A shop that will bear the name of the Collective has been installed at Avenue Habib Bourguiba, it will welcome six experienced craftsmen who will exhibit their high-end products throughout the festival.

The shop will be open to the public on November 4th, the day of the opening of the festival. The festival management trusted the Be Tounsi Collective by giving them carte blanche for the selection of products and exhibits. There will be jewelry, clothing, pottery and a flagship product of the Tunisian soil.

The main objective of this partnership is to show what is best in Tunisian crafts, and to make this shop a showcase of the world. Festival guests, festival-goers, and passers-by of Habib Bourguiba Avenue will have the pleasure of discovering this beautiful space created, for ecological reasons, entirely of recycled materials, and which will be the setting for beautiful Tunisian handicrafted products. .

The collective “Be Tounsi” was launched in April 2016, on Facebook, by 8 women in love with Tunisian Crafts and passionate about authenticity. Since then, the Collective continues to multiply the efforts and events for the benefit of “Made in Tunisia”
