Photography as a memory, but also as a trace of the history of a region, of a people rich in its mixtures of cultures. The region of Sfax, like the whole country, is full of archaeological treasures.
To discover the otherwise Sfax 2016 region within the framework of the activities of the Palace of Photography of Sfax decided to show these vestiges to the general public by creating an event of magnitude.
6 artists then traveled through the same heritage sites and jointly proposed a sensitive, sometimes surprising but complementary palette of the unique and common places of Sfax.
For this first report, we discover Sfax with the eyes and sensitivity of Pierre Gassin.
