Red carpet for Turkish Airways after Qatar Airways?

The fifth freedom of the air that has already been granted recently to Qatar Airways should enable Turkish Airlines to use to its advantage the Tunis-Carthage Airport. This freedom is a “right or privilege granted by one State to another State, in respect of scheduled international air services, down and taking in the territory of the first State, traffic coming from or destined for a third State “.

Note that Tunisair unions have called on the Tunisian government to cancel these agreements with Qatar Airways that would further seal the already shaky financial situation of Tunisair.
