A unique event to share and spread the Tunisian cuisine!

The dining experience has become an important component of travel and the products of the soils having more potential to attract international travelers, catering has become inseparable from any destination image and able to make it real added value. It is in this context that the first event is organized Cook & ShareTunisia. It stands Monasatir from 14 to 16 October 2016. Organized as Mediterranean culinary meetings between professionals, this event which aims to promote the image of the destination Tunisia wants to share the fundamentals of the Tunisian cuisine and art dining in the beautiful city of Monastir.

Cook & Share thrives on:

  • Cooking-Shows and master classes from the Tunisian products. Tunisian leaders are chosen for their mastery of traditional techniques and their way of revisiting the Tunisian cuisine. With renowned leaders of Mediterranean countries, they discover and share their expertise.
  • Exchange workshops with scientific experts (doctors, nutritionists, sociologists, historians), economic (Council for the Development of restaurant concepts), chefs and producers will follow each show cooking on the themes “Heritage and Innovation”, “Hotel Catering” and “catering Concepts.”
  • A product market with producers and suppliers

cook 1The purpose of the event is to promote and carry forward the international Tunisia through its culinary identity and the products of its soil. MéditéaTunisia itself the objective through this first event Cook & ShareTunisia to support the development of Tunisian restaurant concepts in Tunisia and abroad, to develop the hotel catering offer as a distinctive element of the offer tourism, and to contribute to improving the specific circuit products for the Catering.

A strong participation and numerous partner

Nearly 25 Mediterranean chefs participating in this event showing their interpretation of themes according to their culinary culture from the Tunisian products selected and made available, providing a different view of the Tunisian cuisine and other expertise. They come from France, Italy, Spain, Greece, Croatia, Turkey, Morocco, Algeria, Lebanon, Egypt and of course Tunisia.

Meetings are for caterers and hotel and food experts. Chefs, hotel managers but also bakers and confectioners are invited  as visitors.
